Spirit Air Complaint - Mileage Credit
MICHIGAN -- I flew to Cancun on Spiritair at the end of October 2007 & returned home at the end of November 2007. When I inquired about why Spiritair had not credited my account with the mileage for the trip, I was advised the trip was ineligible because it was taken more than 30 days prior to my inquiry date. I probably should have inquired sooner but got busy with the holidays & taking care of my elderly mother & just expected that Spirit would record the credit as other airlines have done for me.
Needless to say, this is not as bad as some travelers have experienced with Spirit but, in the future, I'll book with airlines (i.e., NWA) that will automatically credit my mileage.
