Shinn Spring Water / The Water Guy Complaint - Spring water delivery
WEST CHESTER, PENNSYLVANIA -- The Water Guys bought the water company that I had used for many years, with whom I never had the slightest problem. The Shinn Spring Water / The Water Guys on the other hand delivered water to my house 6 times and NOT ONE TIME were they able do it right; they left too much water, not enough water, they left it in the wrong place, they left the wrong kind of water, they left empties bottle, or they did not come at all. Each time I had to call, explain the problem, and have them fix it.
I paid them each time until the last time when I got fed up with dealing with them and told them to come get the water that was at my home. They took several weeks to pick up the full untouched bottles of water and then sent me a bill for those same bottles! I called one last time to explained the problem I had and said that I was unwilling to pay the bill (first because the service had been so horrible and second because they had gotten back untouched product). This is a business that lives and dies on customer service and instead of simply accepting taking responsibility for their poor service, apologizing, and moving on they kept sending bills, and have now sent it to a collection agency.
Instead of working internally to provide better customer service their choice is to harass a customer for $25.00. This is not the brightest organizational model around.
I am registering a complaint here and with the Better Business Bureau because Shinn Spring Water / The Water Guys are, in my opinion, an example of a really, REALLY badly run company. I want to let other people know that, in my experience, they would be better off to avoid Shinn Spring Water / The Water Guys.
