Fisher & Paykel Complaint - This machine is junk

MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON -- We purchased this eco-smart GWL15 in June 2007. At first we thought is was a great washing machine but after a couple of months the pump failed. we had it replaced under warranty. a month later, same thing. we had another pump installed. Then the computer went out. we had that replaced. then the pump valve failed and while waiting for that repair the computer went out again. In all we have had six service calls in seven months on this machine and Fisher & Paykel says the don't have a return policy???? Basically we just have to keep having it repaired over and over until the warranty is up all they did was extend our warranty. To add insult to injury we also had purchased an extended warranty for and additional year. I guess if we can put up with monthly repairs for three years we're good but I am going to Sears and am going to purchase a solid washer that will do the job and not make me crazy.

Sears has an awesome service policy. (satisfaction Guaranteed or your money back) The Fisher & Paykel is going to the scrap yard where it belongs.

Before you purchase that appliance from Sears, you may want to read the complaints on here first. I don't mean to burst your bubble but their track record lately is rather poor. And the company that they use (A&E I believe) is also poor. Please do your research before buying.

A&E is owned by Sears and they are terrable. It is probably A&E that has been trying to fix the Fisher-Paykel.
