Wal-Mart Complaint - Customer service - Compaq Presario computer
FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA -- I bought a Compaq Presario Desktop computer the end of December. Right away I started having problems and contacted HP support. I was assured by them we could resolve the issues. Well, they were not resolved. I contacted Walmart 17 days after purchase and they said there is nothing they will do. I would have to go through warranty. I am still fighting with HP and have emailed Walmart. I got a response from Walmart requesting additional information and they would see what they could do.
I have heard nothing for 2 weeks and I keep emailing them. They just don't care what the consumers think as long as they make a sale. I will no longer be shopping at Walmart. Don't buy the computers there.
As of 2/11/08, Walmart contacted Hp. HP called me and they say they are replacing my computer with an upgraded model. I guess Walmart can get something done when they want to, it just took them plenty of time. Now I will see if HP follows through with their promise.
