Orbitz being #1 worst surprises me. I use them for every trip (airfare only) and I have never had any problems.

I noticed the ones with the luggage issues were commuter air lines. Must be a message in that someplace.

Superbowl, I was just noticing the same thing...

Interesting list. I'm not sure the list of carriers would sway myself much because of so many variables. The travel agents' list though is something to consider. Nice job super. Going green before it even left the poll position.

I always just call or go online direct to the airlines...I have found the prices are almost as good (or better in some cases) and the experience is so much more pleasant. Very good info super...

Interesting how 4 of the 5 had a "Delta Connection" of some sort and you referred to them as commuter air lines. We call them crop dusters, tooth paste tubes, rubber band flights and some things I best not mention. LOL

Glad I dont use those travel agents..imagine me hanging out in Fiji, and my board in Canada.

I like the fun of planning out my trip(not down to the finest detail, just the basics.Destination,Lodging, etc)

Wow - I have been lucky with expedia.ca - I've only used their services for the last seven years, but every trip went without a hitch (and I was fully refunded my ticket costs to Denmark - in '06 - after a car accident.)
Time to go and do more research on expedia...
Thanks for your post.
