Necessary Recall Route 66 Boot (At Least One Style Dangerous!)
By -

LOCKPORT, ILLINOIS -- A Kmart brand Route 66 boot is unsafe and should be recalled. Within two months of buying them I slipped and fell three times on slush, snow, or ice. My mother also fell while wearing the same boots. She had bought three pairs because they were on sale. They were regularly marked at $19.99 on sale for $9.99. I cannot find contact information for the manufacturer of Route 66 brand sold by Kmart. A Kmart customer service representative could not help me and told me Kmart is not responsible unless the product is labeled for recall by the manufacturer. I am awaiting a follow up from my local Kmart store where my mom and I bought the boots.

Route 66 Shoes
By -

NILES, OHIO -- I bought a pair of Route 66 shoes. They were suede slip on shoes that don't tie. I wore them less than three month and they started to fall apart. At three month mark they got a large hole in the bottom about 2 inches wide. I will never buy from that company again.
