NTB (National Tire & Battery) Informative - Good experience with NTB

Review by doogie on 2008-02-08
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- I had a recent bit of electrical weirdness that a roadside assistance guy was sharp enough to trace to a bad battery cable terminal (the connector clamp). I showed up at NTB unannounced with my 2 year old in tow, and they were able to pry the old, fused-on terminal off the post without destroying the battery, bring in new terminals from another store, cut the old ones off and install the new--all within about an hour and a half, and all for around $45 including parts and labor. I am always wary of being taken advantage of at auto places ("sorry sir, we couldn't get the terminal off and are going to have to replace the battery too", etc.).

But this was a great experience, and I will definitely consider NTB in the future.
