Comcast Corporation Compliment - Good Service for 10 Years Plus
KELSO, WASHINGTON -- I have had both Comcast cable and internet service for over 10 years, primarily in Vancouver, Washington and now in Kelso, Washington. I had only one internet outage in Vancouver that lasted approximately one day. Comcast was on top of the problem when I called.
When we relocated to Kelso, Washington we were very disappointed to find out that Comcast was not available, so we went with the local company who took an entire day to string a line above ground from the box at the top of our property to the house and then activate all connections in our home. It may have taken a day, but I had service finally. For one year, I called monthly to request that they bury my cable line. I was always told that it was on their list. Needless to say mowing the front yard was difficult with a cable line strong across the yard. After a year, Comcast purchased the previous company. I called Comcast and ordered a new HD cable box, so I would have HD and On Demand finally. I also asked if they would bury the line. They buried the line within 3 days of my phone call! I have had one outage (both cable and internet)that lasted around 5 hours, otherwise no problems in the last year.
I'm very pleased with the Comcast's service and reliability, but always hate to see those rate increases and charges for boxes, etc.
