Kia Motors Informative - Sudden acceleration - Amanti

SAUGUS, MASSACHUSETTS -- I have a 2005 Kia Amanti I bought brand new. This car has been in 2 rear end collisions because of the CAR!! IT has sudden acceleration - when you press on the brake, the motor starts to RACE and go forward no matter how hard you press the brakes down. The company is NOT listening to me. I just had it towed into them after the second accident - they had my car NINE days prior to the accident for exactly that - sudden acceleration - all they said was "they could not duplicate the problem". Now they will NOT do anything about my car except "investigate" it and make me drive that WEAPON on WHEELS - I have asked them to buy the car back, no response. Kia is known to have these problems - I have read online many people have experienced the same thing. If they do not help me - I plan to have a LEMON painted on both sides of my car and have in BOLD BLACK LETTERS inside them saying "KIA IS JUNK!!!"

I am afraid to drive this car again but, I owe too much money on my loan to trade it in OR sell it (and I would NOT want to sell this car to another person) what if I had HIT a child or pedestrian? DO NOT BUY KIA!!!!!!

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/complaints/results.cfm check thi site (Nathional Highway Safety Administration) and file a complaint.

I have filed with NHTSA and i have contacted a lemon law lawyer for my state. It's just that Kia has a deaf ear and i may be forced by them to drive this WEAPON on WHEELs again as i need a car for work!! They KNOW their cars have this problem...and they are ignoring me. Now it needs to be fixed from the accident the CAR got in (not my driving) and then they have to LOOK for the problem AGAIN - which they always say, "we cannot duplicate the problem"...Sorry. I refuse to pay the first $500.00 on this accident NOR will i pay the surcharge for the next 6 years!!

I would consult an attorney immediately. NTSB is good idea also, they may have other complaints on file.

Along with the lemons write your number and, "ask me why my KIA is a lemon" and park your "lemon" in front of a KIA dealer!
