Procter & Gamble Complaint - Whitening gel smells like nail polish remover
I purchased a box of Crest Night Effects whitening gel with applicator brushes at Wal-Mart 2 days ago. When I got home, I opened it and was completely turned off by the smell. It smelled exactly like nail polish remover. I looked at the ingredients and noticed that "ethyl acetate" was listed. My instinct was right. I looked on my bottle of Cutex Non-Acetone remover, and Ethyl Acetate was the 1st ingredient! I didn't even want to put this on my teeth! Gross! And the box claims that it won't harm teeth! I don't want to find out if it does or not.
I returned the box, granted it was opened, but unused, to Wal-Mart for a full refund.
You can not read the ingredients on Crest Night Effects gel because they are not on the outside of the box. They were listed on the inside tray.
