OREGON -- I purchased a laptop for Christmas and signed up for there financing. Everything went fine, I was able to build it as I wanted it and it was delivered in time for Christmas. By the end of the month I was wondering when I would be billed. So I talked to a customer service rep. They said it would take up to 45 days. Now starting in Feb. my wife has taken calls from India, wanting a payment. You can barely understand the person, they don't identify there self or what the bill is for but want her to give a credit card number or a check number for payment. Sounds like phishing scam to me. I finally talked with a "Janet Jones" with a thick Indian accent who told me I was 2 months late and they have been sending me bills. I had her read me the address and it was correct. I use a U.S.P.S. P.O. Box so I wouldn't have lost mail. And isn't it funny that they are the only ones that I don't receive mail from!
If you put in a Google search for DELL FINANCIAL SERVICES you will find that this company is screwing an awful lot of people. As a technician that works for one of the largest network support companies in the country I have always trusted dell and invested in them due to this. This could change my mind and I will try to persuade others in my company. I will pay them off and try to close this account, but by some of the stories I've read I don't expect them to stop sending bills. I would recommend no one use there financing!!!!!!!!!!!
