Ralph Pontiac Honda Informative - Car deal turns bad
ROCHESTER NY -- After negotiating a deal, she returned to the dealership with her signed contract to pick up her truck. That's when Mike Ralph Junior told her she needed to come up with more money. Ralph is an officer at the dealership and the son of the owner.
"He proceeded to tell me that there had been a mathematical error and I would have to pay an additional $2000."
She refused to pay more and said she would take the contract to her lawyer. But she says Ralph grabbed the contract out of her hand and crumpled it up.
"At that time he said, 'Now you have nothing to show your lawyer,'" she says.
So she grabbed the dealer's copy of the contract off the desk and headed for the door. According to the police report, Ralph followed her out yelling obscenities. That's when she says the altercation turned physical.
"I was grabbed by Michael Ralph from behind and spun around and in an attempt to grab the paperwork out of my hand, I was also pushed into the glass front door of the showroom."
She called police and went to the hospital with neck and back pain. Police charged Ralph with assault and harassment.
