Honda Informative - Battery life and dealer service
Recently I payed a little visit to Lisle Auto Plaza located in the Chicago West Suburbs. The quality of service was horrible. I have been there before and decided to give it a last chance. The people are the most unfriendly and unprofessional and the quality of service is bad (trust me I work for the auto industry making OEM components for these vehicles)!
Anyways they also told me that the battery life of my vehicle was almost over and I needed to replace it. My car is a 2005 Honda Accord with barely 42,000. The replacement cost for "OEM" battery? $125!!! Honda's extended warranty does not cover the battery and my wisest decision was to go to an auto part store and buy an excellent battery for $60 with 3 years WARRANTY! Honda, definitely Toyota is stronger when it comes to customer service!! I think you just lost a long-time-honda-lover-customer.
