SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Bank of America Credit Card company stole $39 from me for using one of their Credit Card Checks to deposit rent money into my Bank Of America Checking account by saying that I had insufficient funds after I made the transaction at a Bank of America Bank! They claim they are separate entities! It is organized crime and despicable in nature. They send you these checks and if you use them, you get taken no matter what the outcome.
All the credit cards do this criminal ploy, but to screw you between your checking and credit card at the same bank is lower than scum.
They lost a good customer for $39.

If you are paying your rent with a credit card, you have bigger things to worry about.

The $39.00 charge is a clearly stated fee that comes with the checks. If you use the service, there is a fee. The did not rip you off, the charged the fee that you authorized them to by signing the check. I think more than half the CC complaints on this sight come from people not reading their contracts before they sign and buy things.

Using credit card checks are like a cash advance, there is a fee to use it.

Jason is right about the checks..AND it will NOT come off your credit card until all the regular charges are paid..because there is a higher monthly fee on the Checks / Cash advance.
