Sears Complaint - Breach of contract
YONKERS, NEW YORK -- I paid over $4,000 for a Sears central a/c unit I purchased in April-2003. I own at least 5 major sears appliances. According to the salesperson (who in my book are the worst), after three repair calls I'm entitled to "lemon law". Which is recinsion of this a/c & replacement with a new one. Upon initial installation, the service guy (who allegedly stole some of our tools) left the unit leaking. This was unbeknownst to the household because it was purchased when the a/c didn't need to be on. 2nd time: same guy came out who didn't know what he was doing the first time. Left it with a slow leak this time & a huge gapping hole in the hose that even a child could see. 3rd time, after my mom rip & roared, they sent out another company. This person confirmed what we already knew: torn hose. Now the fan doesn't work!!! Our dedicated service rep is of no help, his voicemail stays full & seem very lackadaisical about the whole thing. We at our wits end. Oh, did I mention a large part of the floor tile is destroyed because of all the flooding!!!!!!!!!!
