NCO Financial Systems Complaint - NCO Financial crooks...
Resolution Update on 03/02/2008:
First off, I just want to say thank you guys/gals (^_^) for your helpful advice. What happened was I got in contact with a nice lady from NCO Financial Complaints Hotline, a Lisa Signore at tele #1-888-495-8352; fax # 1-215-442-8253. I explained to her my situation, I sent her copies of the paperwork I have in realtion to the incident and kept in contact with her until she told me that the account was being closed, I owe nothing, and that I will be recieveing a letter in the mail verifying that the account was closed. Anyone out there having trouble with NCO Financial; my advice is get in contact with Lisa Signore at tele#1-888-495-8352, fax # 1-215-442-8253 and fax her any paperwork you may have relating to what your being charged for. Thank you all again for your help and Good luck to those of you dealing with NCO Finanical.
P.S. : If you think what you're being charged for is a mistake, DO NOT PAY IT !!!!
NEW YORK -- Looks like I'm not the only one having trouble with these criminals so let me get straight to it. On August 6, 2003, I called 911 because I was jumped. Few months later, I receive a bill for $488.00 for the ambulance trip to the hospital. However, on the bill it says that if I provide the necessary paperwork showing I was a victim of a crime, the bill will be excused. So, I sent in the paperwork and, as far as I was concerned, that was the end of it. December 2007, NCO Financial calls me up and says "We are collecting a debt for $488.00". I asked her "what was this debt in relation to?". And she told me it was the same bill I was charged ALMOST 5 FRIGGIN YEARS AGO for the ambulance ride to the hospital. For the time being, I am ignoring them and I do not intend to pay anything, but they still call me and it's getting ridiculous.
How do I get these [snip] to stop bugging me and to waive this so-called "debt" that my insurance company took care of already ???
