Radio Shack Informative - Radio Shack/Sprint worst service ever
ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND -- I recently purchased a phone from Radio Shack in Rockville, MD and they set me up with Sprint. I cancelled the phone the following day since they told me I had 30 days to return it and there would be no charge or commitment with Sprint. I called Sprint since they billed me with a early termination fee of $200, so I called and waited and waited, then they told me I had to go to Radio Shack so that they can fix it. So I did, and there we where with the manager that just kept on blaming us for not calling Sprint. We kept explaining to him, but he was relunctant to understand that it was them who initiated the entire thing. So we where there for over 2 hours and at the end Sprint said that they could not do anything, and the Radio Shack manager also said the same. So please don't buy phones from Radio Shack since they activate the phone, but do not take the responsibility of deactivating the carrier. And yes Sprint's customer service is the worst. Please avoid both of these companies since they are not willing to help the customer. We did everything the right way and both parties kept blaming each other. Now I'm stuck with a $200 bill. Please help.
