T-Mobile Complaint - Poor reception and dropped calls
We have been with T-mobile for about 4 years now, and lately it's been driving us crazy, well, for about a year now. We've had problems with dropped calls (ALL the time) and poor reception and signal strength. Customer service has been polite about it every time, but even all the troubleshooting hasn't done any good. At one point, they suggested we switch the SIM cards over to our old Nokia phones because apparently they get better reception, but even that didn't do us any good. My personal favorite is "Not Allowed " of whoever I'm calling.. that or "Network Busy". It's goofy, and it's been driving us crazy. So just make sure the phones work in your area before getting service with them.
The only other issue is that I wish they would prorate their early cancellation fee. It's irritating that even if you were to cancel the contract a week early or less, you still have to pay the $200 per line. Since my husband and I both have phones, that amounts to $400. Anyway, our contract with them is up this week, so we're switching companies. I won't say they're horrible, you just need to watch out for the signal strength and dropped calls.
