Wal-Mart Complaint - Wal-Mart's Steakhouse Steaks Too Salty!!
TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA -- We have tried the new Wal-Mart Steakhouse Steaks twice now and both times I have taken them back and gotten a refund. The ribeyes are so salty we can't eat them. When they grill up they have the consistency of processed meat, much like bologna or processed ham. It is very strange. I just read the label today on the package and it says it is enhanced with up to 10% solution. On the back of the package in the Nutrition Facts block the sodium content is 370mg for a 4oz serving. The ingredients list: Beef, Beef Broth, Potassium and Sodium Phosphate, Salt, Potassium Lactate, and Natural Flavors. Why does a steak have to contain all those chemicals?? When I buy a ribeye at another grocery store it just contains beef and nothing more.
We have been very disappointed in Wal-Mart's new Steakhouse Steaks and will no longer buy meat from their stores. They use to have really good meat until they changed to this new brand last year.
