Bloomex / Fancy Glasswear Europe Informative - Valentines Day Flowers
CANADA -- My husband went on line to buy purchase my flowers for Valentines Day 2008 (two days before the event)as he could not be with me. He went to www.bloomex.ca. It looks a very professional site and he ordered me a dozen red roses. They did not appear on Valentines Day, nor the next, nor the next. They arrived, dead on 19th February. We have both contacted Bloomex's customer service dept (who also trades under Fancy Glasswear Europe ?) who repeatedly tell me that they cannot transfer me to ANYONE in charge, they cannot refund me and they cannot give out names or addresses. They requested I send them a PHOTOGRAPH of the dead flowers which I duly did and that was three days ago. I have also emailed them twice and I have had no reply whatsoever. Now I am told that a courier will be coming to pick up the dead flowers only then I MAY get a refund. When I call Bloomex to get the courier name and tracking number I am told I am not allowed to know this information?! It is quite apparent that this company is not legitimate.
If you look on the Better Business Bureau (Canada) site (see: www.bbbmwo.ca/commonreport.html?bid=1147739) you will note that this company has a "unsatisfactory" rating and a lot of complaints. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR POLICIES.
