Ashley Furniture Complaint - Turnersville New Jersey Store
TUNERSVILLE, NEW JERSEY -- I bought a sectional couch back in the beginning of January. It is almost March and I haven't received my couch or my money back. I have called numerous time trying to resolve this matter. NO ONE is helpful. I was told 9 times that my couch would be deliver by the beginning of 02/08. I waited and waited and still nothing so I decided to call again. This time I was told your couch should be here next week I see that it scheduled to go out on a truck this week from the warehouse is up state PA. It should arrive in Mt. Holly and we will have it delivered ASAP.
2 weeks go by and NO couch and NO calls. So I call again (02/15/08) I was told NO deliveries will be made b/c they are in the middle of switching owners. OH GREAT LUCKY ME!! So now I paid $2400.00 for NOTHING. I have NO couch and NO refund. They told me that it would be another 7-10 days until I get my couch. So today is 02/26/08 and I still have NO couch and haven't been called ONCE. I did all the calling. So at this point I am being told my refund will take 15 days to process but it only took them 2 days to cash my damn check for $2400.00. I spoke to JAIME today and she told me she needs to wait until NICK approves my refund. Wait there is no other MANAGER besides NICK that can approve my refund???? I was told NO!!!
I think all of us unhappy customers should go and picket in front of the store and let the future customers know what kind of situation they are getting themselves into. Because this is just totally unfair!!!!!! I promise I will not stop until I have been granted some type of refund. I am in the process of talking with a lawyer and we might be in court soon. I am very frustrated and feel this is the WORSE business that I have ever dealt with. I will make sure that NO ONE I know will shop that this store.
