Vence Lonestar Motor Complaint - My Day At The Dealer
ALICE, TEXAS -- I like to put my 3 cents of what happened at Vence Lonestar Motor in Alice Texas, this is what I submitted to the dealer. And never got a response.
"I was in your service department Mon from 8-3 waiting on my truck seeing I was not from Alice I had to wait and call in for work. I was told that a switch was going to be replaced on my truck. I asked the gentlemen that was helping me to make sure the e brake and all its parts were in good condition. So he re assured me and I continued to wait. Well 3 came and seeing I haven't eaten breakfast or lunch I wanted to see how much longer my truck was going to take. I decided to walk out side and what do I see my truck in a different spot. So I acquired about it and was told it was ready. No page no nothing. I pay my 100 deductible and walk out side to speak to the gentlemen who waited on me from the first place. I asked him again if every thing was looked over as far as my e- brake and explained to him I use it often.
And again he assures me that it has been done. So I drive back to CC and when I get home I decided to take a close look at the e brake and what do I find, the handle cable frayed. So I decided to look at the invoice and it reads " Found parking brake lever distorted at switch location". I called this morning and asked what all was done to my truck, I was told the switch was replaced, My question is if the tech found that the lever was distorted then why didn’t he replace it. My invoice reads a part number 15143446 which would be the lever but I don’t see any number for the switch.
I feel that I was not treated as I should have and my vehicle was not top priority and it was half assed fixed."
