Juniper Bank Complaint - They only want their "pound of flesh"
I needed some short term credit and Juniper had been sending me pre-approved applications for months. Finally, I bit and I transferred a balance from another card at the same time. They never sent me my card.
I got an email asking for payment. I called them and expressed my concern. I told them that since they wanted my SS# to make a payment that I wasn't going to make a payment until I at least had my card in hand. It was all yes, yes, yes from them except when I expressed my concern about late fees. Then they were silent.
Well, the card came late. I called them again. It was like talking to a wall. The so called "Relationship Manager" was located in the Philippines. They refused to let me speak to their supervisor. They refused to give me their real names. They refused to do anything to correct the problem on even bend an inch although one of them admitted that he would not have given out his SS# under the circumstances either.
The referred me to Barclay's Bank and they just ignored me.
Terrible, terrible company. Avoid them at all costs. It will only make things worse for you and they charge a fortune for those nice, easy to use transfer checks as well.
