Maybelline Complaint - Eyelash Curler Refills... DON'T FIT!
TROUTVILLE, VIRGINIA -- I've used Maybelline products since I was a young teenager. I am now in my 50's and for the first time have a complaint. When I purchased new refills for my eyelash curler, they didn't fit. Thinking perhaps I needed a new curler, I went back and purchased one of those. Nope, the refills didn't fit it either. Next time I went to the store I purchased new refills thinking it was a fluke that they didn't fit.... NOPE... still didn't fit. I've tried 4 different pkgs of refills. They are the black refills and they are too short and not thick enough for the curler. I stuff them in and after release on the curler, they come out as I release, so each time I compress the curler, I'm having to reset the pad. They also squeeze the lashes funny creating a weird curl! Amazingly, I found that when inserted upside down they "work" better as far as the curl, but they still fall out upon release.
Anyone else having this problem? I called Maybelline, but got nowhere except that they would record the complaint. So, if you are having this problem, please call.
