Sleep Inn Complaint - Poor Customer Service

Review by pawpaw & nana on 2008-03-04
DOTHAN, ALABAMA -- We recently had the unfortunate experience to stay at Sleep Inn in Dothan, Alabama.

The continental breakfast was poorly stocked for the 3 days we were there. When asked if they were going to put anything else out, we were asked "what is it you want?" Food would be nice! Front desk blamed it on the vendor. Managers blamed it on us, that they were in no way responsible for their 100% satisfaction guarantee and "the case is closed".

Obviously we will not be staying at a Sleep Inn again.

What ever happened to customer service?

So your only complaint is about the free buffet? Can we assume the rooms were clean, safe and comfortable? To me that's more important than they put out chocolate donuts when I wanted powdered.

You don't say exactly what kind of food was available. Continental breaksfasts can vary widely from motel to motel. I've stayed in places where all they serve is coffee and pre-packaged pastries and I've stayed in other places where you can get waffles made to order (not Eggos) and biscuits and gravy. Unless you've stayed in a place before and are familiar with what they consider breakfast, it's pretty much a crapshoot.
