General Electric Company Complaint - Warning to not buy a GE monogram refrigerator, especially at a Home Depot EXPO Store
MARYLAND -- The purchase experience extended over weeks due to the mixups at the Home Depot Expo store. Delivery and installation was a night-mare, the installation was never completed, missing parts, still missing. Several years later the refrigerator has never, correct never, fully functioned. Scheduling service is next to impossible, thus far impossible although I try to get a date weeks ahead, its never available, and missing or incorrect parts are still missing and incorrect. My unit is ready for the junk yard after 5 years of non-service. This has been a very expensive problem. I am a single user of the product and wear and tear/use has been only for myself. What if it would have been for a family of three or more.
My ice maker holds old fashion ice trays for ice--the ice maker don't function often, not at all the past year. none of the dispensers on the front function, just the light if by hand I screw-in and out a bulb for on and off.
