Apparently someone in Chelsea MA is enjoying your money.

You have given so little information. "Vacant building" doesn't say much.

Get more information together. Receipts, company name, address. File a police report. Go to the electric company, find out who was paying the electric bill at the vacated address.

This is going to be mostly work on your part.

In the future, pay your own bills. Do not involve a third party.

I just Googled "Payments Plus Chelsea MA" and it appears to be a temporary employment agency.

Call the city and see who is on the biz permit. Then call the county and see what is on the DBA record. You need to track down the owners ASAP. Time is your worst enemy.

I just dug a little deeper and found Payments Plus in Chelsea, MA described as a check cashing/utility payment center - - and also a temporary employment agency. It appears that the issue is that you have receipts for the payment of your electric and cable bills and these companies haven't been paid. When you went to Payments Plus you found they were gone. I agree with superbowl - - you need to contact your local government agencies NOW as time is not on your side. It sounds like your money may well be gone but you still need to get to the bottom of this as you can't be the only person affected.
