Sears Canada Complaint - Poor Customer Service & Warranty
I bought a Stove with a ceramic top and contacted the sales person the day it was delivered stating the top was flawed. They were going to replace the top with a black top, since the grey one showed flaws easily. My sales person then retired and I moved. In contacting sears again, I was passed from dept to dept, from sears in the city I bought it to the city I now live in, from customer service to the repair dept. They could not replace the top with a black one, and they did not find out till after the one year mark, so I have to have it replaced with a grey one, which quickly shows any marks.
Sears, NEVER at any point stated I could just return the stove, but waited till after the one year warranty to ask why I didn't return it. Anyone out there who has a problem at sears...don't hesitate...pick up the item and return it immediately...leave the problem with Sears as they do not follow through on customer service and keep passing the buck to other departments. Extremely poor service, especially since I have bought 8 large, top of the line appliance there within the past few years.
Customer loyalty is not rewarded by Sears customer service. Extremely poor service. Extremely unhappy customer.
