Hudforclosure.Com Complaint - The Use Of My Credit Card Without Authorization

Review by brownsugar1958 on 2008-03-05
KENTUCKY -- I enroll for a one time trial for HUD Forclosure listings of homes for $1.00 and is now being charged on my credit card for a $39.80 charge that I didn't authorize. I've been trying to call the company an have left several messages and have not received a return call. I think this company should be charge with fraud because they are making unauthorize withdrawals out of my account. I will notified my bank an see if my attorney can file a fraud case against this company. I hope that whoevers read this know that this is not acceptable business practice and will not be tolerated.

DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THEIR SCENE!!!

My guess is that you didn't the cancel within the trial period and are being charged the normal monthly membership charge. You will have to call them to cancel if you haven't already done so.

you must cancel the service before the end of the trial time. other wise you do get charged.

What they said. Also, you can get these listings for free on HUD's site: http://www.hud.gov/homes/index.cfm, or from your local realtor.

And, if you go to the hud.gov site above they also have homes for sale through, Dept. of Veteran Affairs, FDIC, IRS, SBA, USArmy, Customs, US Marshall, & Dept of Agriculture. IT IS FREE!!!!!

You didn't cancel within the 'free trial' period so of course they're going to charge you. When will people learn? Never, never, never give out your credit card numbers or info from a bank account. I agree with the members who say this information is available at no cost to you.
