DirecTV Inc Complaint - Promises And Lies
ST LOUIS, MISSOURI -- I was promised an iPod and $100 dollars when I signd up for direct TV. I received neither. I jumped through as many hoops as they shoved in front of me, and their were many. However it never happened. I was also promise free movie channels for a year, and that never happened. When I signed up for the service there was always someone to talk to. Since then I have a lot of problems talking to the "correct" customer service person, and my problems were never resolved, although I tried very hard. I'm going back to cable even though it will cost me tons to get out of my two year contract. I would think very hard about signing a two year contract, cable doesn't require it why do they? Because they know the have bad service? To get more cash out of you when your dissatisfied?
Read the small print it may cost you more to buy out your contract then what the person on the phone told you. I believe in my case it will cost me much much much more.
