Educational Partners, Plano, TX Complaint - Payment not made for work done

Review by rgew9267 on 2008-03-10
WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS -- Educational Partners (EP) is hiring Appointment Setters from home. I have set 30 appointments that I did not get paid for, this is three weeks of work. They agreed by contract to pay $10. per appointment plus 5%commission on sales at that appointment. They owe me about $1,500.00 and won't pay saying I was in default of contract. However, after the first week I worked for them and was in default at that time for sending out emails to get my appointments, they lead me on to believe they were going to pay me what they owed me and kept me working for another three weeks with no intension of paying me due to that I sent an email to get an appointment and was in default of my contract.

In the contract is says nothing about sending emails. It just says I have to follow their instructions. She did tell me not to send emails or faxes to get appointments but the people required this to allow me to schedule the appointment.

Sue them for breach of contract.

Take them before Judge Judy. She will see you get reimbursed.
