AirPlus Heating And Cooling Compliment - Good service by AirPlus Heating

SAGINAW, MICHIGAN -- Since January my home heater has been acting erratically. The solenoid that controls the burner would chatter and I was concerned that with a natural gas furnace that there might be a fire hazard..

I called a local company the first time it happened and after a night call which cost me $142, the service man admitted that he could find no reason for the malfunction and left.

It re-occurred this past Friday and the second serviceman came out and suggested a $400
repair.This also cost me $75.....

I contacted the owner of AirPlus. He came to our house and determined that it was a weak solenoid, leaving us in no danger. He showed us how to correct the problem, thoroughly checked the system, and only charged us a reasonable fee for the time spent...

Should anyone need this type of service in the Saginaw area, I would certainly recommend him!

So Basher? Who is going to pay the service tech for his time to come out there and fuel/insurance for the service van?

Yeah, Yeah I know...it's a service call and after hours...alright already. Stop pickin on me, just seems like a lot of money for them not to be able to find anything wrong and the other company did. The other guy charged $400 plus $75..and he still had to contact the company to find out what was wrong.

Bash.. they "more or less" identified the problem. They did make the trip and spend the time. I'm not nuts about the way they approached the problem and the guesstimate by their service tech was off by $150 dollars, That's why I had a 2nd opinion..
