First Franklin Complaint - Foreclosure - Mortgage

Review by naha on 2008-03-10
ORLAND PARK, ILLINOIS -- Most uncompassionate company I have ever had a loan with. I lost one job, my husband became ill and was hospitalized for months and they didn't care. I am in foreclosure!!! Lost $53,000 dollars. Paid $3,300 monthly for 11 months on time, on an interest only 12% loan - my fault for stupidly signing mortgage agreement. Lost everything! Now they are suing me and I have no money, no credit, no car, NOTHING!

If they are your only choice, don't sign the papers. I wish someone told me about them. I messed up. Take my advice, they are NO GOOD! They are affiliated with Lasalle Bank too.

i am trying to figure out why you were paying that much per month. even at 12% interest, something is not being told here. are you high risk? or do you have 53k in the house? what percent of the loan is left? are you on an adjustable with a ballon payment?

I agree, there is a lot not being told here.

Mortgage companies are not in the compassion business. They financed your home, they want to be re-paid. A somewhat simple concept.

I may seem harsh, but that is the real world.

I am sorry to seem as incomassionate as that bank, and I have been where you are, trust me, but you signed a legally binding contract. And like tnchuck100 said, they are jsut in it for the business. It's not personal with them like it is with you. You lost your home, but at the end of the day, they really don't care because you are just another account number to them and they will get in their cars and drive to their homes and be comfortable. They are in the business to make money, not be compassionate. That's the reality.
