VistaPrint Complaint - Service Agent - Customer Service

Review by lisa on 2008-03-11
I work in a call center for a major retailer who deals in high-luxury. I deal with high-maintenance customers daily...So a little service from a company like Vista Print is not much to ask for. I didn't call ranting and raving about a charge of $14.95 that was charged to my debit card. I was polite and for the most part, the two rep's I dealt with were nice. My only complaint is that the first rep disconnected my call after asking me to please hold. She did not follow through with what she said she would do. My second call did end with favorable results. I told the second rep that the previous associate did hang up and he mentioned that information was not processed before.

They were both a little hard to understand since they spoke fast but I was happy with the service.

The thing that gets me though is the reason I had to call in. I know I did not have an order pending with them. From what I gathered, what I was being charged for was for a membership for a rewards program? I find it hard to believe I signed up for that because I could spend that $15 on something more important. Plus I am cheap! *grin* However I read another complaint and another member said that they have a box already marked to automatically sign you up. I must've missed that and would make perfect sense why I don't remember "signing up"

99% of those charges stem from people not reading the terms before signing up or ordering stuff online.
