Dish Network Complaint - Cancellation
I 1st want to thank everyone who is writing on this site.Its very informative and gave me comfort when I was practically in tears dealing with Dish Network. I signed an 18mon contract 7-06-12-07 and in 12/07 I called customer service and asked them if they do monthly contract and they said no.So I went w/ Comcast. I got a call from Dish asking if I want to renew my service and I said no.I thought it was over but they charged me for 1/08 and 2/08 when I called them they said I have to personally call to cancel even after I explained that someone from their company called me and I said no I don't want to renew it. I talked to 4 different supervisors and 3 of them were very rude.Now I have to return the receiver, remote and a lever. the lever is on my roof,i cant even see it let alone reach it,its dangerous. I just mailed in the receiver and remote. How can they expect us to disassemble the product that we never assembled?
I read on this site they will charge us $400 for the equip.if its late so I wanted to make sure that didn't happen.I hope I don't get charged for not sending in my lever.I was happy w/ Dish prior to this and I would've contd w/it if I got correct info the 1st time around. I'm so upset with the way I was treated.What they are doing to us in immoral, rude, and unethical.
