Cardinal Electric Complaint - Bad Service - Electrical Contractor

SUMMERVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I had Cardinal electrical services come and give me an estimate. All was fine the technicians came out and were very professional. I accepted the estimate and was given an appointment for today 3-17-2008. When no one showed up I called and was advised by the person who gave me the appointment that we were scheduled for next Monday the 24th. I was advised by this person that he felt tension and he did not want to do the job.

This company is unreliable and I would suggest only using them if you have to.

Sounds like it started as a simple clerical error - a mix up on dates. I suspect there is more to this story if they decided they didn't want to do the job after all. Something created this "tension" you mentioned.

I agree Hugh...there seems to be more to the story. I can't imagine this "tension" was created just because of a mix up on the date.

Personally, what I think is they underbid the job and decided they didn't want to do it for the price that was agreed upon. I couldn't believe it when he said "I sense tension". I actually thought he was attempting a joke.By the way there was no tension at all I spoke calmly and just wanted to know when they would start. Weird really weird.....
