United Retail, Inc Informative - No manager available?

Review by lenore9999 on 2003-10-10
Just wanted to let people know, but at the smaller stores, i.e. The Avenue, Afterthoughts, Claire's, etc., there is ALWAYS a manager,an assistant manager, or some kind of a key carrier available. By their own store rules, a key holder has to stay in the store at all times, while the store is in operating hours. So, if an associate tells you that no manager is available, stick around for a little while, or, call another store and get the district manager's number. Chances are, the manager type may be at lunch, or could be out of the store, which is a violation of policy.

Thanks for the useful information. The "no manager available" seems to be a common complaint. Hopefully this will help people.

how often are you going to need a manager at a place like that?
