Vonage Informative - Vonage Was Nice But Good Luck Getting Out
My brother-in-law passed away and I am trying to cancel his account. The support staff (in India) either hung up on me or said that if I was not the account holder, they could not help me. Duhhh!!! One person did say to FAX the cancellation request & death certificate in which I did. After 3 months, with hours on the phone they are still trying to auto withdraw from his cancelled checking account.
After all the useless calls to support, the only way I could get to talk to someone was call sales. I knew they would answer. I resent him the faxes and he said he would forward them to the right people. One month later, still Vonage is still trying to pull from checking.
With service like that, I would NEVER use Vonage. Go with your cable company.
