AT&T Wireless Complaint - AT&T Constant Problems and Lies
LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- This all started in December of 2006 when I noticed I was being charged for numerous calls to Puerto Rico that I did not make. The calls started out slow, but by February of 2007 most of my 1400 minutes were being used to call various places in Puerto Rico, even while I was on the phone with someone else. The person also lived close because they kept changing my address at the pizza place for delivery!! MANY MANY MANY calls were made to AT&T from December 06 - July 07, all of which representatives were telling me that they would "investigate" but would never tell me the outcome of investigation. I finally spoke with a manager in May/June 2007 and they told me that either I was making the calls or someone was using my phone without my knowledge (which is odd because I live alone)... I had to eventually had to get my number changed. AT&T was basically calling me a liar, and saying I was just trying to get extra minutes (mind you I had PLENTY of roll over minutes) The only thing that made AT&T believe me was that the day after my number was changed my old cell phone number called me. Which means that the person using my number could HEAR ALL MY CONVERSATIONS AND KNOWS MY NEW NUMBER!!!
I had to contact the FCC to get anything done about it, and apparently the person who had the phone before could still use their phone to make outgoing calls under my number and the minutes were billed to me. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!
