Buy.com Complaint - Revolution Card
I applied for a Revolution card so I could receive the $50 discount. The first item I ordered ended up getting canceled weeks later because they could not obtain it from the supplier.
The second order consisted of two pieces and after almost two weeks of telling me half of the order would arrive in their inventory soon, I was told it was on backorder. Since it was a discontinued item they didn't know when/if they would get it back in and I could cancel the item. BTW, I couldn't use the coupon on the second order after they canceled my first one, so they said they would manually apply it.
I asked to have my item number swapped out so I could still use the $50 coupon (and also still get the item I wanted) but they said they couldn't do that. Even though the other item in the order was available the whole time they put it shipping status for two weeks so I never had the chance to cancel both.
I then placed another order for a similar item but was told since the total was split between two orders they wouldn't manually apply the discount any longer.
They said it might not be possible to cancel both of my items but they will request it. I've had to request it three times at that for anyone to do it.
Updated to add that the order didn't get canceled and both items were shipped. I decided to call someone and was told it was my fault for counting on both items arriving from seperate suppliers. I was informed I could place another order and they would manually apply the coupon to that one. No thanks, I won't buy anything thru buy.com ever.
