Ashley Furniture Complaint - Lack of communication / delivery
TURNERSVILLE, NEW JERSEY -- My husband and I purchased a sectional from this store. all went good and well. we got our confirmation call the night before that our couch would be delievred the following day. happy and excited my husband took off work and when we saw the truck we were happy. that is until it was the wrong couch!!!! Apparently the salesman who put our order in the computer system put in the wrong numbers.And that is OUR fault??? Well of course we called the second we saw that it was the wrong couch and was told that it would take another 2 weeks to get the couch redelievered.
My husband has been calling and calling and finally got a hold of the director of the stores who called us back and told us that our couch is in the warehouse and would be delievered this Tuesday. That we would receive a confirmation call the night before. well it is Monday night and no call. so we just spoke with the store. they have no record of anything. no nothing. have no idea what we are talking about. Bottom Line. What kind of business treats their customers like this??
Now I guess im going to have to wait around for a couch that isn't coming tomorrow.
This is the Last time I will ever do business with ashley again!
Update. 3/25 ok so yea we never got the callback, my husband just called again. apparently they had our couch on the truck to be delivered today. But only HALF of it!! They told us that they didnt just want to deliever half of a couch. do u think they would call us? nooooo. so the other half of our couch wont be in until april 18th are you KIDDING ME?????First they order the wrong couch now they only order HALF OF A COUCH!!! I AM ONE PISSED OFF CUSTOMER. these ashley people in TURNERSVILLE NEW JERSEY NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
