Cheaptickets.com Complaint - Don't Use This Site - Airline Tickets
I booked a flight for two on 032208. I waited patiently for a confirmation email that never came. I called on 032408 to check on the status. They told me that my reservation had been cancelled and they would credit back my account.(That's nice of you since anything otherwise would be theft) They stated they would gladly rebook the flight which had gone up 110%. So now I'm beyond upset and it's time for some customer service. It's located in the beautiful city of Manilla and staffed by employees that can read prompts off computer screens but cannot form logical sentences or understand anything that is asked which does not appear in a manual. I was told "Your phone is breaking out" several dozen times when asking unfamiliar questions. I was told by a senior customer servive manager that Cheaptickets does not have a definition for customer service. The laugh I got from that answer was worth the 39 minute I waited to speak with her. Then we finished the conversation with the standard accidental disconnect. Three hours total on the phone and I'm stuck paying $500 more for the tickets I tried to book with CheapTickets.
Since I was unable to get a ticket from this comapany they should remove that word from their name. Then they would be left with just Cheap which better describes their company and customer service.
