Sprint Compliment - Above and Beyond - Billing Issue
VIRGINIA -- Back in 11/2007 the wife and I decided we were going to upgrade our phones again when our contract was going to be up for renewal. About that time we received a cold call from Sprint asking us if we wanted to renew/upgrade phones. We turned down that offer but called back that night to go ahead with it after thinking about it and being promised that the offer would remain on the table for a short period of time.
After calling several times and in essence being told we didn't know what we were talking about, I finally got someone to listen and they started to help. I was wanting to get a specific phone but was told it was End Of Life (EOL) and that I could not get it. So I asked for the newer version at the same price and the transfered me to telesales. Roughly 30 calls due to disconnects and speaking to 12 different people, I finally get a hold of a retentions person. They listen to me and give me an outstanding offer that I absolutely could not refuse.
We receive our new phones after getting a very good result of our WANTING to renew and I call to activate them. I do and the CSR gives us even more incentive to stay as this was our 3rd renewal with the company. We were promised a myriad of things including the subject of this post, 2 $50 gift cards one for each line. Well we waited and waited and never saw them. Call and am told to wait. Wait some more and more... Call this past week and get a very kind woman on the phone who not only gave us the discounts off of our service but ended up finding some additional discounts to cover the next 2 months including this one!
I can't understand why people complain about Sprint Customer Service and their billing departments when I have never received nothing but top shelf support for all my CSR, bill, and tech support issues. Granted, sales sux and will remain that way until they clean up the company. But the general Customer support is top notch! My hat off to you Sprint. Not only are you the cheapest and best plan for my needs, but you have impeccable Customer Service skills.
