Sprint Complaint - Brought phone into service center
I went into one of Sprint's stores yesterday in Hiram, Ga. to have my phone serviced as the week before I had brought it to a different location closer to my work.
Still having problems with my phone, I decided since it was giving me problems at that moment I would bring it in to the store in Hiram beings this was closer to my home and thats where I was at the time.
Going into the store, the young lady that helped me was very rude and dis-respectful. I explained to her that I had brought the phone in to the other store in Marietta the past week as I was having the problems that still exist.
The sales associate told me it would cost $55 to swap phones out and very ugly about it.
Another woman stepped in and was being just as rude. I was simply telling them what the technical guy had told me plus I had his card with me, that if she needed she could call him.
I told her I was very dis-pleased with the service and their tones towards me and I then asked to speak to the manager. The Asian girl said, I AM the manager. As I was speaking to her I mentioned, maybe I should just cancel my contract as I have never been treated this way and she asked if I would like the phone to do so. I was appalled to say the least!
I was going back and telling her very nicely about what the guy at the other service center told me and she said in an angry tone, then why don't you just go back there.
I along with my 11 year old son could not believe what we were hearing. I will never step foot back in that store nor will I suggest anyone go there. Another customer was in the store and he also was having problems with his phone and they would not even let this guy talk. He looked at me, and I said unfortunately once you sign up for their contract your screwed.
I have had my phone for 3 months and have had problems with it two of the three months. Continuous Dropped calls, Dialing out and hearing nothing but static. All I wanted them to do was swap out the phone or send it off. They never told me anything about having to have any ins. when I bought my phones to cover any problems I may have. I have the Rumor phone, along with my son...I did buy a warranty for his phone only because his previous phone was dropped in a drain and was in water. I asked about the ins. the sales people did not approach this as an add on to our billing.
I am still having issues with my phone and feel Sprint has pretty much left it as it's my own problem and here I am not being to use my phone as I need, I do use it for work purposes also and I feel as though I have to pay additional money to get it fixed even though I just bought them. Not to mention the most horrible customer service I have ever had at that Hiram, Ga. location. The Asian girl said her name was Katrina. Seriously, when an 11 year old child notices how ugly a person acts in a business setting and says something...it can't be just me. Even the other customer there was outraged for his behalf not being help nicely. I will copy this email and send it to as many people as I have to to get recognition, I am sorely disappointed I am stuck with a service with this type of customer service.
Sprint employees for customer support on the phone are very nice.
If you want to visit HELL, go into this Hiram location (the service center). As much money as I have paid through the years as a customer of Sprint's this makes me sick!
