New York Wall Company Informative - Beware of New York Wall Company

Review by Jake1234 on 2008-03-27
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK -- I had a wall installed by New York Wall Company in 2005, and removed in the summer of 2007. Upon having the wall removed, I inquired as to when I would get my $150 deposit back. They told me to wait TWELVE weeks, which I thought was fishy. It has now been OVER SIX MONTHS and no deposit. I've called probably ten times since the wall was taken down and am never able to get a straight answer or speak with anyone who deals with deposits, which is ridiculous.

I've given up on getting my money back but thought I should warn others that NEW YORK WALL DOES NOT RETURN DEPOSITS. Quality of the wall was also not that great.

I would give it four stars out of ten.
Company Response on 12/16/2009:
At this point in time, all lease deposits from that time have been returned to the customers. If by chance this customer still hasn't recieved we ask they give us a call in order to take their forwarding information.

Regarding the quality of our walls, our workers construct these partitions following a very specific formula that results in a specific outcome. Generally our walls have no problems and we are happy with the quality of our walls. It is up to the customer to call us and let us know if there are any problems with their partition, we are more than happy to come back and fix anything that needs to be.
