DirecTV Inc Complaint - Unauthorized Use Of Credit Card + Other
MONETA, VIRGINIA -- I have had Direct TV for 10 years. I have had to call them about a problem with their service, get a recording, put on hold for up to 30 minutes. Told to unplug the receiver for 5 minutes and turn back on. The last 2 months, I had on and off service. I paid my bill by phone using credit card and at the prompt they ask if you wanted them to keep my card on file. I said no or hung up. They were not concerned about my problem, you would think it is enough that they intro new customers with half the price, but continue to raise their rates on current customers. They answered my complaint by at will put the balance of the two months on my credit. They continued to harass, I kept on removing from my credit card and finally just lost my card and got another. I feel I have at least a $600. Complaint against them for harassment etc. The amount they want to collect was $94.00. These thugs won't accept responsibility for their sloppy service and say to you "well *&^%$ we will bill your card anyway, without authorization. Never give these people access to a credit card.
If they won't take a check, find another company. Because they will harass you for much more than the amount they say you owe them for sorry service.
