WICHITA, KANSAS -- I filled out a application for a credit card. Got accepted. But yet when I went to activate my credit card, I was told I had to send them a pay check stub and a copy of my DL. I don't get a pay check stub, I get paid in a check or cash. So I faxed them the info. Today and now I have to call back in 48 hrs. On a different phone number (which I was on hold for 27 minutes just to be told to call back in another 48 hrs). Wonder if my wait time will be the same as before. I work at a small business, which has been in business for 17 yrs. And I've been here over 3 years. And to top it all off, I got a credit card bill in the mail two days ago, and my card still isn't activated. Now is this the right way to go about trying to help someone build up they're not so good credit?
So what is going to happen on Monday 31st when I have to call back to see if my card will on and I can use it, or will they'll come up with something else for me to send in? Wondering mines would like to know.

Send the company a letter (CMRRR) canceling the card. Start building your credit with local companies for small amounts payable in 90 days. Do you really want a credit card issued by a company who seems to change the rules as you play? Run away!
