Alltel Complaint - Scammers - cel phone
In 1999, I got my first cell phone with Alltel. In 2005, I decided to buy a new phone, in which, I paid cash with insurance and warranty as the previous phones. It may have been in 2004, but about 7-8 months, the phone became defected. I took it in for repair or replacement. I was given a used phone until that one could be repaired and if not replaced. The used phone became problematic after a month or two. I took it in also and asked about my phone, but was given no positive information regarding my phone. Alltel conned me into getting a new phone with the only option of cancelling and be fined. I needed a phone. After about a month, I began asking again for my phone that I paid for with warranty and insurance; again, to no avail. So, I was forced to cancel, and I returned that phone. Now, Alltel has my new phone that I paid cash for with warranty and insurance, the no good used phone, and the con phone. I was told by my bank that Alltel had placed $317 on my credit report in January 2008. A company called 'Focus Receivables' had the account and I had to pay this bill in order to keep history atleast fair. As of this date, 03/30/2008, I have not received my new phone that I paid for or a refund in reference to the warranty and insurance, yet, Alltel has all this information and will only release what they please. Where is the justice against these GIANTS?
