Expedia.com Complaint - Expedia Sucks !!! They'll Give You The Run A Round And Leave You Hanging
My son booked for my husband me a vacation in Las Vegas 6/9 thru 6/12.; limo to pick us up; take us to a deluxe suite at the Bellagio; everything paid and confirmed. Times are perfectly coordiated. However, there was a problem in the connecting flight; ATA says that they are not partnered with US Airways; therefore changes would be made; this is not ATA's fault, it's Expedia's. They made the arrangements; confirmed everything through email; sent the tickets to us by UPS; but Expedia takes no responsibility. On 3/29/08 I was on the phone with Expedia for a total of six hours, spoke to four different individuals, spoke to a Supervisor from hell; she could not and would not remedy anything. I could see myself arriving a day later after all the payments were all made for the hotel and limo service to be on 6/9/08 not 6/10/08. The only other solution they could come up with was to send us the day before (6/8) and arriving on the 6/9 at 5:00 a.m. What do I do with ourselves and our bags until check in ?(Which check-in at the Ballagion 3:00 p.m.) How 'bout the limo? Accepting no responsibility to remedy anything, and of course their solution wasn't acceptable, the supervisor said then cancel...which I accepted and made sure that there would be no fees charged and that all the money that was charged to my son's card would be put back in. She agreed. I then told her that I would never use Expedia again...and then click, my phone went dead.
I called back and spoke to Siviltri, who kindly appologized and handled everything from that point. He noticed when he pulled up the itinerary the whole situation that I had gone through that day. Waiting for over an hour each time I was with one of their agents to Supervisor Dara's remarks. I then told him since all the calls are recorded to please check and he would hear everything that was said. After six long hours I received a confirmation #, which I was supposed to have gotten from Dara; I received a reference # also; everything came from Silvitri. Expedia needs to check on their so called Suupervisors.
I know what I needed...an AMERICAN!!! An American with no accent and that are compassionate and not care if they leave you hanging on the phone lines.
