Wyndham El Paso Airport Complaint - Failed Ammenities, Rude Employees And Construction

Review by Spc David stay on 2008-03-31
EL PASO AIRPORT, TEXAS -- In our most recent stay March 30th, 2008, returning our soldier son to Fort Bliss, we stayed once again at the Wyhdham El Paso Airport. We arrived late as we had driven 13 hours. The price was much higher than we paid in our December 2007 stay. The Jabecausezi was still cold as ice as it was during our 10 day stay in December. We were not given breakfast vouchers for the next morning, even after complaining of the failed ammenities. Construction started in the hallway outside our room door at 8:00am and we were wanting to sleep in after driving and arriving late. We complained to management and were treated rudely and not given a discount or vouchers for food or future stays.

We will not stay here any more despite the fact that our son is stationed in Ft. Bliss and we will visit that city often. We do not recommend this hotel

What is a Jabecausezi?

The main complaint appears to be the construction noise. The hotel should have warned you at check-in and given you the opportunity to have a quieter place in the hotel. A breakfast voucher would have been nice. The poster complains about the hotel's rude staff and promises not to stay there again...but complains they were not given vouchers for future visits?

As to the whine about the cost being 'much higher' than in December. You may want to check out the price of fuel, wheat, or ANYTHING since December.

We were more concerned that the advertised heated pool and jacuzzi were still not working. They were not working during our December 2007 stay and still not working at our March stay. When we stayed in December we did have a good experience other than the jacuzzi not working even after they said it was fixed. We had stayed there in 2006 when It was a Hilton and there was no problems at all.

Odd are...the pool and jacuzzi are still not working. Perhaps a pre-visit phone call to the hotel would have allowed you to avoid your bad experience? Be advised, hotels near military reservations are almost ALWAYS horrible. If you find yourself at Ft. Hood, avoid the hotels in Killeen...they are worse. But, the 'gentleman's clubs' are MUCH better than in El Paso!!!
